Krista Hill, Partner at Torys LLP and the Co-Head of Torys’ Infrastructure and Energy Practice. With significant expertise in infrastructure and energy M&A and project development, both in Canada and internationally, Krista has been widely recognized as a leading lawyer in these areas. Over Krista’s 25-year career, she has advised many Boards, governments, private equity firms and public corporations on their corporate transactions and corporate governance matters. Krista earned a B.A. in economics from the University of Toronto in 1991 and an LL.B from the University of Toronto Law School in 1994. She was previously an adjunct professor at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law, where she taught on energy and natural resources law. Krista is a member of Torys’ Executive Committee, charged with overseeing the management of the firm, and Torys’ Diversity and Inclusion Committee. She also serves as a director and Vice-Chair of The York School, a Canadian Accredited Independent School (CAIS), located in Toronto, Ontario.
