Eduardo leads Rainbow Railroad’s first international desk in New York City. He began his career as an activist for equality and human rights with groups like ACT UP. As a resource development professional, he’s worked with leading organizations in California, Hawaii and New York, championing efforts to improve public health policy and services; improve access to arts education and healthy lifestyles for youth; and advance equality for marginalized communities. He was publicly elected and served as Chair of the Kaimuki Neighborhood Board, in Honolulu. Eduardo is an avid cycling enthusiast and earned a gold medal in the international Gay Games. He is also a four-time finisher and champion fundraiser for the annual AIDS Life Cycle, one of the world’s largest charity bicycle events from San Francisco to Los Angeles.
